General Description: 
The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for demonstrating Parrish Healthcare’s Culture of Choice®, safeguarding an organization's systems, networks, and data from security breaches, unauthorized access, and potential cyber threats. The Cybersecurity Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information, implementing security measures, detecting vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents. The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare. 

 Key Responsibilities: 
  • Monitor network and system activities, logs, and events to identify potential security incidents and suspicious behavior. 
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate the root cause, and take necessary actions to mitigate and prevent future occurrences. 
  • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses in the organization's infrastructure. 
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization, and recommend improvements as needed. 
  • Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), antivirus software, and encryption technologies. 
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and vulnerabilities to proactively protect the organization's assets. 
  • Educate employees on best security practices and conduct security awareness programs to foster a security-conscious culture. 
  • Maintain thorough documentation of security measures, incident reports, and security configurations. 
  • Work closely with IT teams to implement security controls, assess risks in IT projects, and ensure secure system configurations. 
  • Assist in compliance assessments and audits to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. 
  • Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as it pertains to the work area. 
  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned. 
Requirements:

Formal Education:
  •  Associate's Degree, and/or other two-year College equivalent required (A combination of experience and certifications may be considered). 
Work Experience:
  •   2 years to < 3 years 
Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:
  •  1 of the following are required upon hire (2 is preferred; 2nd is required to be obtained within 1 year): 
    • EC-Council [Certified Cybersecurity Technician (C|CT), 
    • Certified Security Specialist (E|CSS), 
    • Threat Intelligence Analyst (C|TIA)], 
    • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) [Security Essentials (GSEC), 
    • Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), 
    • Certified Detection Analyst (GCDA), 
    • Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)], 
    • International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) [Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)], 
    • Microsoft [Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (MCA-ASEA), 
    • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (MCA-SOAA), CompTIA [Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)]
